After studying graphic design in Bordeaux, Gabrielle Monceaux became an illustrator and visual artist alongside her work as an artistic director. Enriched by her numerous experiences abroad, in Australia, England and the Netherlands, her inspiration is rooted in the nature and symbolism of certain objects and animals. An activist artist, she anchors her work in intersectional and environmental feminist struggles in the hope of changing hearts and minds with the help of her sharpest weapons: her pencils. In Spring 2023, she opened a shared workshop 'Les Mains Rebelles', in Bordeaux, France intended for creators, artisans, and artists, where all kind and curious souls are welcome.
